Hi from Oxford

Thought I would do a quick hello on your new forums.

I normally can be found with some of the Fresh Additions crowd in Oxford , I drive a Subaru Impreza P1 which I think some of you have seen at a couple of the meets that happen in my neck of the woods.

The car is build number 7 of 1000 made and was the ex press car that Prodrive used. You can find many clips on youtube of my car being hooned around by people like Vicky Butler Henderson to Tiff Nedell.

Currently I have had a special engine installed the car , using a forged block nitrodded rods , P1 pistions , P1 head , APR Stealth Racing bearing. I have the uprated Prodrive front callipers with Alcon two part bells and disc with Alcon blue stuff pads. Cosmetically I have put on a set of the rare Prodrive mudflaps which finish the car off. It's got a Blitz NUR-Spec exhaust which is bloody loud even with the "bung" in but it's grown on me over the time I have owned the car. The engine and block are rated to 500bhp but with the requirements I set out to the guys at Scooby Projects who did the build for me after a nasty blown engine and fire last year , the car is now running 322bhp and 329 ft lbt as I wanted the car to be well within it's tolerances. I am trying to keep the car as much as a P1 as possible as I think Prodrive did the perfect job in setting up the handling and ride. Too many people have altered the way the P1 feels so much so , that I think they should have saved the money and got the cheaper Type-R Jap import.
